Coworker crush situation

Basically I’m a 26m engineer and my coworker 28f who is also an engineer have been flirting a lot for the past month, and have talked about both of us having a crush on eachother. She is currently working for another division in my company but is potentially joining my engineering group so she’s only in my state for 2 weeks out of the month. We are both dealing with feelings for our ex’s. I’m not currently talking to my ex but she is.

I’m going to go over and talk my coworker tonight and I’m just not sure what to do. I know a relationship will never work because of many factors. So I see my two options as pulling back entirely and saying this has to be a strictly professional relationship or making of move and asking her out knowing that it wouldn’t be able to develop into anything serious.

I got out of a long term relationship last year and spent a year working on myself staying out of dating anyone so I’m just rusty I know the time of talking to someone knew is fun and part of that is the unknowns. However I feel like I’m too old to play games and I’d rather communicate even if the end result isn’t ideally what I wanted it’s better than wasting time. But since she’s my coworker and will work closely with me I don’t want to make a move without knowing fully what she wants even tho her actions have made me think she’s interested. Example was her calling me at 11pm to come over because she hear a noise in her Airbnb.
