I never followed through on 2 dates in a row with this girl now I'm regretting it and don't know how to ask for a 3rd chance.

So I invited this girl out on a date twice, never followed through on both the dates. First reason being I was hungover, second reason being my grandfather passed away. I never told her anything the day of the dates and she also never reached out.

Now how do I ask her again for a 3rd time? She's going to think I'm a flake. Do I apologize or pretend nothing happend? I'm usually pretty decent with women but this situation I'm stumped. I'm 100% going to follow through this time and I'm very attracted to her. Thanks guys!

I’ve always been extremely private and introverted. My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now.
