I'm confused about this woman's message

So some weeks back I matched with some girl on tinder and we started talking a lot. We shared a lot of things in common (same major, same interests in a lot of media, both do art, etc) so I asked for her Instagram. I get her Instagram and turns out that someone I was acquaintances with is her sister. We follow each other and talk some more, later she suggests that we should text in iMessage instead because she is more active there than Instagram, so I send my number and she messages me there.

Some more talking and there are some messages such as her talking about how she is willing to read a book to me after I mentioned how I couldn't get into manga, how she wanted to start watch a show at the same time as me, she wanted me to send a voice audio of how to say my name, etc.

I didn't think too much about it since I did not butcher anything

But maybe two days ago though sends me these messages (I am going to alter some text just in case)

"I sorta wanted to explain like why I was on the app" "Idk if you noticed but I deleted it like a few days after we talked 😭 but anyways" "I thought I should explain I wasn’t really looking for a relationship or a hookup I haven’t really done anything and wasn’t exactly trying to start w someone on a dating app. And when you knew [her sister] I was like omg, flew too close to the sun. Heart dropped. I was like omg watch this be her best friend n she’s never gonna let me live this downnnn" "But you’ve been fun to talk to so I figured I should just lyk the part about why I was on there"

A bit before she mentions how her friends encouraged her to and that they call it "window shopping" and later how she wanted to make friends, but the conversations were dull, thus she deleted it

I'm not sure if she's just talking about her original reason for getting tinder because of the usage of "was" and the part about her sister not living it down (maybe I'm just over reading), or just saying that she isn't looking for a relationship right now esp with someone on tinder, meaning me. I mean either way, I'm down to be just friends bc she's cool (even if it hurts lowkey LOL) but yeah I'm just confused right now. I was kind of scared to ask what she meant specifically to avoid anything serious, so I just continued the conversation in a bit of a joking way

My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now.
