Planning First Date
Hello, I’m (f22) needing some help planning a movie date. I’m overthinking this and trying to plan this out to be perfect, I need some ideas. I have never done this before either. I’ve been kind of but not really seeing this guy (m24) for the past 2 months, nothing official and I have reserved tickets for us to see a movie this Saturday. We haven’t been able to go on an actual date and I’ve asked him to be available this weekend, but have not told him what we’re doing. He’s opened up to me about how in previous relationships he was the only one planning things and said people didn’t make him feel special. I never hear/see women planning dates and I haven’t been on a date since 2019 so I’m a bit lost. I know guys go to the girls house, knock on the door, and maybe bring flowers. Is that something okay to do or is it a bit weird? I think it’d be sweet, but what kind of flowers???Movie starts at 7:15pm and that’s all I have planned. I have a hard time eating out in public, however I can maybe find some place that isn’t busy and on the quiet side. I just don’t want to have a panic attack and ruin the night.
Any advice is appreciated!
