How should I continue?

Met this girl in church. Had so much to talk about. But then she in the sense ask me out to join her and her friend for a movie. But due to military service I had to raincheck. Was told it’s okay next time. So a few days later I realised I was free so I asked her if they were free. No reply till now. And I didn’t spam.

Fast forward apparently my cell leader got informed by the girl’s side cell leader. And told me not to be too on the ball and persistent? Also asked if I was open to a relationship and told me some girls are more shy or this is their first time.

But damn like the convo was going so well that it’s now on my mind (two, coming to three weeks now) that this awkwardness hasn’t been solved.

But tbh Dk if we ever can take things to another level. Especially so with how compulsory Military service has made studies push back two years behind her. So when I’m in University she’s probably long gone…but yeah that’s the long short. Now Dk if can even continue as friends.

What are your thoughts?

My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse.
