/u/DustErrant on Just discovered my asexuality had a medical cause. Feeling a bit lost right now.

While I think a lot of the community here is tired of people claiming they most have a hormone imbalance or something medically wrong with them, the truth of the matter is, there ARE people with medical conditions that affects how they view sexual attraction and libido.

You're just as much a fraud as someone who realized they were gay after having been in multiple straight relationships...that is to say, you're not a fraud at all. Things happen, things change. For it to be fraud, it would have be knowingly done and malicious in nature, and I'm pretty sure it was neither.
