20M Anyone else annoyed of the algorithms on dating apps (tinder and hinge)? Like I’ll download the apps after having them deleted/account paused for a while and then I’ll get like 10-20 likes in a day, and then 3 weeks into using them I get like 1 a day? There are lots of people in my area and so I’m sure that’s not a problem. I feel like the apps just might not be showing my profile?? Anyone else experience this and what do u do? Deleting the app and re-installing doesn’t do anything, neither does adding/moving around pics. Only thing that maybe might work is pausing the account (so that you don’t show up on other people’s feed) and then un-pausing?

I’ve always been extremely private and introverted. My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now. We hit it off and spent a lot of time together but she began to push our relationship as if there were a time clock for milestones.
