How to stop seeking validation
I (26M) have recently been using Bumble BFF to make new friends. I had three separate meetups last night. The first two went okay, nothing special. However, the third went amazing, I can tell we're going to really click as friends. We went to the casino, went bowling, had drinks, and conversed for probably three hours. However, it's the next day and I know they're busy living their life but how do I stop needing validation about our friendship already because I haven't heard from them yet? I'll reiterate, how do I stop thinking "did they really have a good time and want to be friends even though they already told me they had a great time when they got home last night". I don't understand why I need such validation even after they made it clear they want to be besties.
