Have respect for boundaries

It’s easy to cross boundaries when they aren’t defined. So set them and hold yourself accountable to them.

At the same time, when you learn of someone else’s boundaries, you should not try to see how far over the line you can go. That kind of behavior only shows that you can’t be trusted and you’re putting yourself first.

All of this is especially true with sex.

Some people may get silent when their boundaries are crossed. Silence does not equal consent! So be responsible — aka, able to respond — and stay on the right side of those boundaries.

Respect your and others’ boundaries. If you feel the boundaries are too restrictive…talk to them! Disrespecting boundaries is not the answer.
