Had to stop talking to a girl that was seeing other people. What now?

Long story short, i was seeing this girl for a few months months. She didnt want a relationship, just a situationship turned friendship because i was catching feelings too soon. the intentions in the beginning wasnt clear so i fell too deep to fast until she made it clear. I was cool with that but she was affectionate friends with other guys so naturally i got jealous and i quit her cold turkey. that was the last straw. how do i get over someone ive should've gotten over when they told me they didn't want a relationship and instead wanted to ho around? (shes not a ho. im just bitter that she told me the timing was horrible and shes a sweet girl. she just got out of a bad relationship and wanted the affections without the emotions while in the process of healing so she sees other guys with no deep intentions (however that correlates, idk).)

I’ve always been extremely private and introverted. My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now.
