i don’t know if this will help you, but this is my experience. i’m ace and in the closet too!

i like the IDEA of sex. an intimate act with someone you love, the foreplay, the pleasure.

BUT, i don’t like being sexual or indulging in the act, sexual touches and whatnot make me uncomfortable. i don’t like doing the act itself. yet i make sex jokes all the time. it’s odd, i’m both a sex positive and sex repulsed ace.

tldr: idea of sex = okay, doing it/being sexual = not okay
