I prefer very average men and this is why. Rant:

"Average men" (no ones actually average or ugly, we just have messed up beauty standards but I'll still use the word average just to be dramatic) guys who arent 10/10 to the majority of women are a 11/10 to me. I 18f am pretty confident in my looks, I wouldn't say I'm insecure at all. I'm tall, slim with really long dark hair and a pale complexion with blue eyes. so I'm not insecure butttt if a really attractive man slides into my dating site dms, I ignore him. Simply because I wanna be taken seriously. I feel like a man out of my league wouldn't take me seriously at all. So i only prefer men who are average or a little on the lower side of average as I feel more comfortable. I also feel like average guys have more drive to chase me/win me and I love it. It's so cute. I mean obviously I want my future man to be a little active, take care of himself and groom himself as well as have good hygiene, good habits and values, is open about his boundaries, and carries himself well, is confident, charismatic and has a good sense of humor. I care more about traits and qualities over looks. Heavily into personality but it's SO FREAKING DIFFICULT TO FIND ONE LIKE THAT. I'll be patient tho. Anyway sad gurl hours

I’ve always been extremely private and introverted. My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now. We hit it off and spent a lot of time together but she began to push our relationship as if there were a time clock for milestones.
