Ghosted over a catching cold

I went on a date in march with this girl on a coffee date. She was probably the most compatible person I have ever met.

We organised a second date to go to the museum. Unfortunately the day before I had developed a blocked nose and sore throat. We said we would reschedule and then nothing. Not even getting left on read she just vanished.

I know I really shouldn’t but I tried to get in touch a couple times and still nothing. Its safe to say she no longer is interested and that’s fine.

It’s just so frustrating to finally find get a date and then have them disappear. I have only managed one second date. Theres been a few times where I have just been rejected and that’s okay. But there has been several times now where something comes up for the other person.

The difference between being right and being understood

I’ve always been extremely private and introverted. My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now. We hit it off and spent a lot of time together but she began to push our relationship as if there were a time clock for milestones.
