Can I hear your successful “there’s plenty of fish in the sea” stories?

I’m young and have so much to learn so be patient. Tomorrow is my last day of high school. My last day to see my ex whom I’m still suffering from the break up. I’ll be moving from the US to Europe for 3-4 years.

I’m not over her because she is the cutest thing I’ve ever seen. I’m mature enough to know we aren’t meant for each other and she isn’t what I need/want emotionally.

It stings a little to know I will never ever have her because she is the only one of herself in the world. That’s where the “there’s plenty of fish in the sea” saying comes in. I’m trying to get my hopes up with that quote. Thinking that there will be even better! And man I’m going to be living in flippin Europe there are tons of girls there! I’ll be okay. Can I hear your success stories? Thank you

The difference between being right and being understood

My (27f) gf (27f) is getting tired of me not sharing intimate/ personal info about me

I’ve always been extremely private and introverted. My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now.
