I can’t seem to get around my horrible social skills

I just can’t talk to girls without sounding like a complete dumbass. I enjoy random scary facts about space, heavy metal, video games, and other random stuff. So when I start a conversation it’s usually with a random fact. And I know that’s probably not good way to stay a convo but it seems like all that can come out of my mouth. It’s just the way I communicate and converse with other people. I also talk a lot, I can’t seem to control it, I’ll catch myself sometimes and stop but wither it be over text or irl I just enjoy talking but anytime I’ve stated talking to someone they find that out and become uninterested. I just wish I could find someone who could understand that my brain doesn’t shut off ever and in turn I just talk a lot.

Any advice from people who may be in the same boat?
