Can anyone reassure me this is nothing to do with me?

Is what my ex 30m has done probably nothing to do with me 27f?

Recently broke up with ex boyfriend. It’s been hard. During the relationship, he talked about his ex girlfriend all the time, he kept up all the photos on his instagram from when they were together, lovey dovey captions etc. they remained best friends after the breakup and in default contact. But then he moved to the uk from the USA and met me.

Well I shouldn’t have been looking I know, but his ex posted that she had a new boyfriend in the uk, a pic of her new boyfriend and that she’s moving to the uk to be with him. All of a sudden, my ex has made his instagram private. Is this probably because he wants to keep the pictures up but still be able to see her?

Or has he made it private because of me?I did panic because I made a post about his instagram behaviour yesterday using anon Reddit account, and then it’s weird timing with him making his account private. I said some horrible things and called him a narcissist, but maybe I’m overthinking? Reddit is massive anyway?

I am sad because we had a special connection and I wanted to be friends and see how his life goes

My (27f) gf (27f) is getting tired of me not sharing intimate/ personal info about me

I’ve always been extremely private and introverted. My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now.
