A girl asked for my Instagram instead of number?

So I met a girl at an event twice and we got along pretty well. We chatted a lot and there was a lot of laughing etc. At the end, I suggested going out sometimes and she agreed and asked for my Instagram instead of number. I checked her Instagram and she doesn't have a lot of followers so it doesn't seem like she's just collecting followers to be an influencer or anything. Should I ask her out via Instagram then?
