Quick Question

Went out on a first date on Sunday. The following day, she told me through text that she had a nice time and would be down to go out again. Great, right?

I try to set up plans for Saturday. She's unavailable for Saturday and is away all week after that and and she says she wants to look at the following weekend. Sure, I'm around. How about Friday or Saturday? My August is pretty quiet. I also offered for her to just let me know when she's available to sort of give her an out if she changed her mind and doesn't want to go out again.

Then she says she "should" be back by Saturday.

We had a nice time so it's just a bummer to be uncertain and be left off with a "should". And I can't send any texts to her next week because I don't want to bother her when she's away (and she didn't say what "away" means). I feel like she's had enough time by now to just say she had a nice time but didn't feel a connection. But I'm also a classic overthinker and everything she is saying is entirely plausible.

Do you think there's a second date coming up? Or is this getting stretched out so that too much time passes and we stop communicating?

My (27f) gf (27f) is getting tired of me not sharing intimate/ personal info about me

I’ve always been extremely private and introverted. My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now.
