That’s totally fine too! Physical and romantic attraction aren’t the same as sexual attraction, and it’s totally possible to have any combination for of different kinds of attractions. From what you’ve said so far, I would think you definitely fit the description of asexual, though ultimately it is up to you if you think the term asexual applies to you.

With that said, back when I was struggling to decide if I was asexual, something I found really helpful we’re some of the resources linked to in this very subreddit. For example, there’s this page talking about what asexuality is in general, and especially this one that explains what sexual attraction even is. Before I read that second one, I didn’t really even know what sexual attraction was and how it was different from other types of attraction, which led to a whole lot of confusion. Hopefully they can help you too.

My (27f) gf (27f) is getting tired of me not sharing intimate/ personal info about me

I’ve always been extremely private and introverted. My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now. We hit it off and spent a lot of time together but she began to push our relationship as if there were a time clock for milestones.
