But you’re my perfect girl!

So last night I decided to casually hook up with this guy. He asked me what I was looking for. I said I wasn’t really looking for anything casual, I’m looking for a serious relationship. He said he was looking to hookup. We had talked quite a bit before this subject came up. He didn’t push me on hooking up. He genuinely seemed interested in talking to me and I him.

So about 24hrs into us texting (last night) the conversation was getting a little sexy. I’m bored and a little manic (I’m bipolar) so I’m cool with it.

I decided to ask him to come by. I figured if he only wants casual that’s cool. He seems like someone I can casually get off to and then be done with it. He lives near by. We both were drinking during our sexting so when he gets here we’re are both horny and tipsy. We sort of just instantly go at it. The sex was alright. Nothing to write home about.

This fool texted me this morning and was like “Want to hookup tonight?” I’m like “No. I’m busy and honestly last night was just a one night thing. I’m looking for something a little more serious.”

He goes on about how he doesn’t understand why I won’t keep fucking him. If I did it once I should just keep doing it. Then says let’s be friends with benefits.

I just tell him I’m not interested so please leave me alone. He does for a few hours.

Then he texted me about 3hrs ago saying that he thought about it and thinks we should give it a shot. We should try dating. I asked him what changed his mind? He says “Oh well I made a list of my perfect girl and you just check all the boxes.” Then he goes on to describe my looks.

At this point I’m so over it and I’m mad that I even hooked up with this guy to begin with. But I responded “Well I’m glad you think I’m the perfect girl for you. But sadly you are not the perfect guy for me. You do not check all the boxes for me.”

He goes OFF saying shit like how looks fade and I should just give him a chance. Typical “Nice Guy” bullshit.

Anyway, he’s blocked and I deleted the text. I deleted it before I thought about sharing it on here. Sorry about that.

I wish the sex had been a little better because maybe I would have had a FWB situation. But mediocre sex and red flags does not sound like a good time to me.

My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.
