/u/Amintirii on Am I the only one who will like, go back and forth with questioning if I’m asexual. Sometimes I’ll 100% be confident with it, then other times I’ll be doubting if I’m really am asexual. It’s really frustrating to second guess it

Woah I really needed to hear this. I think I'll just take your advice and and stick around questioning until I'm ready. Thank you for the advice stranger, I really appreciate it <<3 March 07, 2021 at 12:05AM

/u/AdrianaSage on What are your views on an open relationship for someone that isn’t asexual too?

I'd be interested in seeing how often this type of arrangement works out in the long term. My guess is not too often. I'm mostly basing that on statistics I've seen for open marriages, and stories I've heard from people who've tried open relationships. Also, speaking as an ace who's been in a relationship with an allo for 20 years, I can't imagine an open relationship not effecting our bond. I'm not just talking about the jealousy issues. There's a sense of connection just from snuggling and feeling comfortable being naked with the same person for so many years. Even if you're not having sex. If you felt they could be that way with other people, it wouldn't quite be the same. I think there's enough people who are either on the ace spectrum or simply have a low libido, that it's not worth wasting your time on anybody else. March 07, 2021 at 12:00AM

/u/WhyDoIPretend on Ew ew ew, the second screenshot is so gross, am I the only one to think that?? D:

I was married off at 19, had two kids, got divorced. During my second engagement after that I started to realize I was ace, but he shut that idea down... broke up eventually. When I got into my current relationship I ended up realizing I was aroace, and he has been absolutely fine with that. We got married in January. So yeah, you can be aroace and married... without doing it like bunny rabbits all the time (he is hyper sexual and I’m the opposite, and he completely accepts that). March 06, 2021 at 11:58PM
