/u/silverlupus on I tried to draw asexuality as a person, thoughts?

I would wear that outfit - looks so cool! I wish I had the patience to learn to draw. January 03, 2021 at 12:05AM

/u/Cl0udbreak on Do any of you sometimes consider putting your own needs second because the person you love keeps asking for sex?

Never been in a relationship myself and this is definitely a fear I’d have about being in one, bc I’m afraid I’d put my own needs second and feel compelled to comprise etc, but at the same time, I’m a strong-willed person and clearly know what I want and what I don’t, and where I can compromise. And since anything sexual is just something I don’t ever want (my dealbreaker I suppose), I couldn’t be in a relationship with anyone who needed that from me- I just personally can’t bend on that one thing for anyone. So I guess it probably depends on what you can personally tolerate or feel comfortable with... if it’s a dealbreaker for you, I would think it’s better to just not be in a relationship that causes you a great deal of stress... but that’s something that only you can know what feels good/alright to you, so it’s something that you’d need to really just think about, and communicate (preferably before getting into a relationship) with the other person January 03, 2021 at 12:04A...

/u/GaraBlacktail on For the ones who don't know there was a punk band called "Asexuals" in the 80's/90's (while i don't think they were ace since i read they called themselves like that because the band members were all single at the time, it's still worth noting i think) here's their song "Asexual" from 1985

while i don't think they were ace since i read they called themselves like that because the band members were all single at the time Now that's a bit dramatic. But hey! Might give a listen just for the laughs. January 03, 2021 at 12:03AM

/u/WokeEdgelord on I don't even care about censoring these pricks.

While I honestly think that the majority of the community is cool, it kinda sucks that there are some of people who embody this mentality. It really shouldn't matter if your sexual orientation isn't the flagship for discrimination based on sexual orientation, but to some people it does. I would like to say though that this sentiment seems to be the minority opinion. I generally see positivity in most LGBTQ+ spaces. I guess the shitty stuff is kinda easier to remember, unfortunately January 03, 2021 at 12:02AM
