Can you imagine introducing yourself as female and someone saying "but have you had your hormones checked?". They didn't say being female was a problem. They didn't ask your opinion. They just told you basic information about themselves. Now imagine you get asked about your hormones every.single.time you introduce yourself. Especially in something as vulnerable and personal as being asexual. August 14, 2020 at 12:03AM

I had the same reasoning when i finally realised i was ace. I decided to do full bloodwork to see if i was not low on my sex hormones or something. Turns out i was 100% fine and was really just not interested in sex. I can understand the persons reasoning. But to call this aphobia might be pushing it a little. August 13, 2020 at 11:56PM
