/u/Ace-Of-Broken-Hearts on Having sex just to cure the curiosity ??

Yeah the only real reason to make your intentions clear is as a politeness to him and so there are no misunderstandings if you value him as a friend/person. Some people would feel very upset and used to find that someone just wanted to try sex out and used them for that, especially if they were hoping it could turn into something more. Some people feel used and upset just over one night stands in general. That doesn’t sound like this situation but with something so intimate It’s best to be clear and make sure you don’t hurt anyone. It doesn’t need to be a long conversation just a quick clarification that can be made during the consent part of the conversation. It also makes thing less stressful the next day and you don’t have to worry about ‘what is this’ vibes. The other comments have good advice too 👍 June 03, 2020 at 12:03AM

IMO as a (now) 25 year old ace, it's never too early to decide what you are. You may change your mind, you may discover something about yourself and decide you fit into some other label better, but that's the thing about labeling yourself: the only person who it really matters to is you. Most people in the world don't care if you're straight, or gay, or bi, or ace, or whatever. Most people will give you a passing "Oh, okay." And move on. So there's no reason you can't decide now - the person it matters most to is you, and what most likely matters to you is that you feel you have something representative of yourself (if only for now and not always). Personally? While I didn't know about the label at the time, I was pretty certain I was "different" than most others by the time I was like, 10. I didn't develop crushes, I didn't really have any kinds of feelings for anybody outside of just wanting to be friends, etc. etc. This conti...

That's up to the person! Asexual only has to do with sexual desire, and some aces certainly love to kiss/be kissed. As with most things, everyone is different and what one person loves, another might hate. June 02, 2020 at 11:39PM

Kissing has nothing to do with your sexual orientations. Some people like it, some don't. You can be hetero, homo, ace, bi, etc and like kissing... Or not. It's just a personal preference. Personally, I find it gross. June 02, 2020 at 11:39PM
