Hi guys, I'm looking for some advice here. The hubs and i have been married 6 years this year, together for 11. We've gone through lots of hardships together and I think overall we have a pretty strong marriage. But in the past we've gone to couple's therapy for "lack of intimacy" as in hubs was completely ignoring me and playing video games every chance he could, and i was naturally feeling very abandoned, etc. Things have gotten significantly better on that end, ever since therapist flat out confronted him saying "if you want to stay married you need to make spending time with your wife a priority." I think this similar sort of situation is playing out in other relationships now, and i think I'm realizing hubs doesn't "prioritize" relationships like i do. My hudband smokes around 1/4 of his paycheck every month. We recently had a baby and I dont work. I never had a normal job but I did contribute to the budget and I take care of all cooking and cleaning and the baby. We have money problems and It came to the stage that we cant afford heating in our house even we have a baby. He always become severly iritated when I metion his smoking and he tells me to get a job. But even when I had a job I never spent that much money only on myself. Edit: I already talked to him on multiple ocasions and everytime I turned out to be controling wife. Been married for a looong time and hubby keeps in contact with his ex gf. He hasn’t told me that he does....I always end up finding out. She’s married and her hubs is oblivious to it all. Yeah we’re married but still feel like she’s has control. They don’t see each other since they live far away. I want to tell her husband because I think he has the right to know.
