Kind of new to dating. I have an image in my mind of traits and characteristics I’m looking for but not much of a list as far as red flags go. What do you tend to look out for? I’m in my early 30s, she’s in her 20s. We both live in Canada. We will be going on our first date at a Moroccan restaurant that I chose. When I told her where I wanted to take her to dinner, she said I was bold in a seemingly pleasant way (I hope?) . Do you have any advice on how to impress her besides common knowledge of do’s and don’ts in dates? She said one of the things that she admires in men is effort, hence the Moroccan restaurant idea. Bearing this in mind, should I wear a suit or should I rock a tucked in dress shirt with khaki pants? Offer to pick her up with my car from her place? Or would she frown at the offer? I'm a demi-panromantic asexual (meaning while I don't experience sexual attraction to anyone, I can develop romantic attraction towards people regardless of gender) and I'm in a happy relationship with another asexual. Asexuality means no sexual attraction. You can still be in a relationship or do whatever you want. You can have sex, be kinky, have a child. You can do all those things. i’m autosexual & on the ace spectrum. i first noticed this in 2019 & told my friends & i didnt like their reactions (one of them said it was weird) so i shut down any possibility of me being autosexual. last year i realised i was asexual & that i don’t experience sexual attraction to others, & months later the idea of me possibly being autosexual came up again when i saw some tiktok of someone talking abt it, & a comment mentioned that autosexuals r on the ace spectrum !!! i kind of want to tell ppl but ive already spent over a year explaining asexuality to ppl. idk if im ready to spend another year explaining autosexuality & be told im confused or narcissistic, esp wen asexuality itself is already misunderstood / unheard of.
