if she doesn’t accept that that sounds like not a you problem jokes aside, if she’s at all a good friend, she’ll be fine September 03, 2022 at 01:39AM

Recently broke off things with a girl I was seeing, is it possible to get back with her? (23M)

Title, I was dating this girl for almost 4years online and I had planned to move to where she was staying by the end of this year (I did not get a chance to tell her but I was planning on telling her in a few weeks on her birthday). Unfortunately she broke things off with me a week ago and told me she had just found someone she was interested in a month beforehand, but did not tell me. When I asked why she broke things off, she left very vague answers for me listing that people drift apart, we were each other's first relationship and that I was just good enough. She told me that both her and I could have done better and that we were heavily flawed people. I don't know how to resolve issues left unspoken since I am a very dense person. Is there anyway I can convince her to talk with me more often at least? I still love and miss talking to her. When I tell her things I wanted to do with her in the future, she responds back with that we just drifted apart and that no one was a ...

Hit with the same thing AGAIN?

so I posted a few weeks ago about how I was forced to cease communication with a guy that I developed some strong feelings for because he told me that he wasn't ready for a relationship and wasn't sure when he ever would be. to be honest this broke my heart as we had been dating for 4/5 months and all the messages he had sent (even the last few) told me how amazing he thought I was and how he was going to regret his decision in the future. maybe I am still not over this guy as I miss him every single day. nonetheless I went back on hinge to try new things after maybe 4 weeks. I'm ngl I hate texting so online dating isn't my favourite but everyone has recommended it so I thought I'd try. I started speaking to some random guy for marine 3 days. I appreciate this is nothing serious and I don't even know the person but he has JUST messaged to say how he's recently out a relationship and not ready for another one. what the fuck. I just feel like this is a sec...

Three dates in

I (F27) have been on three dates with a new guy (M32). We have fun together, he has continued to schedule dates with me and talks about wanting to hang out/future ideas for dates. We have both expressed we are into each other. We talk on the phone during the week, and text, but not constantly. On date three I tried to start touching his arm, being closer to him, as we have not kissed or anything yet. But I wanted to show I’m interested in touching. He also seemed to try touch me more, though it was a bit awkward. Later in the date, he held my hand in the car, but stopped shortly after. It was really awkward to me that he pulled away after being the one to reach for my hand. I felt like he didn’t like it or something?! Maybe he just felt weird. The exchange was exciting but awkward and I don’t know if I just suck at this, he’s not sure if he’s fully into me, or what! I’m hoping for smoother physical contact on date 4 this weekend. I guess I’m just wondering, is it okay that things are ...
