Title, I was dating this girl for almost 4years online and I had planned to move to where she was staying by the end of this year (I did not get a chance to tell her but I was planning on telling her in a few weeks on her birthday). Unfortunately she broke things off with me a week ago and told me she had just found someone she was interested in a month beforehand, but did not tell me. When I asked why she broke things off, she left very vague answers for me listing that people drift apart, we were each other's first relationship and that I was just good enough. I (F27) have been on three dates with a new guy (M32). We have fun together, he has continued to schedule dates with me and talks about wanting to hang out/future ideas for dates. We have both expressed we are into each other. We talk on the phone during the week, and text, but not constantly. On date three I tried to start touching his arm, being closer to him, as we have not kissed or anything yet. But I wanted to show I’m interested in touching. He also seemed to try touch me more, though it was a bit awkward. Later in the date, he held my hand in the car, but stopped shortly after.
