Long story short I'm young and looking for advices! I'm very interested in a colleague of mine who is pretty much obese.. I know what she looks like and it doesn't really bother me.. Stuff I hear around me regarding this topic is making me reconsider my feelings. I'm a bit reluctant to trust my own feelings. Is obesity really such a big issue in dating? For context : she is very much interested as well and I figured out that she had bariatric surgery about less than 6 month ago. Yet majority of people around me are still telling me that I will regret getting into this... Just as the title says! I (M) shared a class with this person (F) a month or so ago so we are not total strangers but by no means friends either. I don't take that class anymore however and now only see them around campus with friends and whatnot. I just find it difficult to approach them at all (both due to situations and also because I'm a complete coward with all this) and was wondering if anyone had any ideas or little inputs to this situation? So short backstory, I've (23F) been recently talking to a little group of guys(all 22 to 24M) who've been friends with eachother for some years.
