It's really up to each person to determine what they identify as. If you feel like the term asexual fits you, then it's entirely valid to consider yourself asexual. If it feels more correct to think of yourself as just straight or gay but suffering from trauma, then that's also completely valid. It's fine if you want to consider yourself questioning.
