/u/Jackvader2020 on But what if i consume porn/hentai/perv stuff

Im aroace and watch porn/masturbate. Your not alone. November 13, 2020 at 12:05AM

/u/gtickno2 on For those who don't or can't masturbate, why?

Its not really about feeling guilty (although that can happen too), it's more about just not liking the physical feeling of the aftermath. Feeling tired and gross or sweaty or something. Idk if youre supposed to feel physically bad afterwards but overall I just don't really like the way it feels November 13, 2020 at 12:04AM

/u/KitonePeach on I came out to my mom today and she was supportive! So I'm celebrating with some good food and new yarn.

What are you planning on making with the yarn? I’ve bought various gray yarns so far for an Ace blanket I have planned (I crochet), but haven’t decided what I’m doing specifically yet. November 13, 2020 at 12:04AM

/u/Jackvader2020 on Am I a bad person for thinking this?

Definitely not. Not sure why you would think this makes you a bad person. I would feel awkward too if i knew a close friend of mine was sexually attracted to me too. November 13, 2020 at 12:04AM

/u/ToothlessFeline on How does any human brain possibly come to this conclusion??? How?!?! (Tagged for spoiler for brief mention of MAPs)

Sadly, you’re not wrong. Here, we actually take people seriously when they want to know something. Can’t say that about most subs that relate to sex and sexual orientation. November 13, 2020 at 12:03AM

/u/crackedglassbottle on A friend said something and I don't know why it keeps bothering me

It sounds like L hijacked your experience and reframed it around themselves instead, but it's difficult for anyone to say anything against that because their personal negative experience with the label is as valid as anyone's positive one. They're not wrong in saying that some few people really don't know what they are at that age, and that giving themselves a label only to find out later that it never fit them can cause harm. That's an experience a lot of ace people can probably sympathize with. How many of us at that age thought we were bi or straight or gay before we realized? I don't want to say anything negative about L, because, again, their experience was a valid one, but I can also see why their comment would feel problematic. It's exactly the same argument used by people who say asexuality isn't real. What happened then is that someone took a character who could have been ace and made them allo instead, and not only that but they used an aphob...

/u/aminervia on It's bizarre... Now that I know I'm ace I feel attractive for the first time in years

Luckily I had back issues so insurance paid for it. I lied to my doc about doing it for the pain when it was really just to get everyone to stop looking at me November 12, 2020 at 11:57PM
