She (26) and I (38) have been kinda together for several months. We have a number of common interests. I don't know why I'm going to say this, but she makes more money than I do (about $20,000 more). We're both frugal. She more so than I, and to the point where she borders upon being cheap. She has this habit...every time...when she gives me a gift, that she'll tell me how much she paid for it, oftentimes before I even receive it. A recent variation upon that is something she designed, and she told me how much time she put into it (and that she paid extra for faster shipping to have it executed by a company). I have made very general statements to her that I got a "good deal" on something that is a common interest and which she'll probably have the idea as to its cost.
