Nervous for dinner first date

I (F24) work in a restaurant and was serving this guy (M34) a couple weeks ago. I thought he was super attractive and funny, we really hit it off but at the end of the night we just parted ways without getting any numbers. This past weekend, I saw him at a bar near my restaurant and all of our friends spent the night hanging out and he finally got my number and asked me out on a date for this week. He planned a really nice dinner date for us and offered to pick me up, and I've never really had anyone put this much effort into a first date. My usual go-to is drinks on a first date because it's low pressure, so going out for a proper dinner is somehow intimidating me. I know first dates in general are nerve-wracking, but for some reason the idea of sitting through an entire dinner is making the entire thing even more nerve-wracking for me - and I've been on more first dates than I can count. Any advice on surviving a dinner date? Submitted April 13, 2022 at 01:07AM I ...

So heres the thing... It can be both these things at once. Yes, we are more likely to be SAd and thats a good reason to use us as a symbol here... But also yes, it can be construed as stating that SA causes asexuality; which while that can happen in rare cases, is not the case for all Aces by any measure or even the majority of Aces. If this had the Caedsexual flag colours it wud be much better i feel. April 12, 2022 at 11:30PM

Texting might be a deal breaker

I (21m) am seeing (21f) and we’ve been on 6 dates so far. Sooo I don’t really like to text and I’ll take a few hours to respond to people cus I procrastinate it lol but she is on a whole other level. She takes 3 days to respond and these are just to texts about our next date. Our dates go great and we get along really well. We also sleepover and we’ve had sex twice now and she has asked me on three of the dates but the texting makes me think she doesn’t value me. Am I right to think that or are some people just that bad at texting? Submitted April 13, 2022 at 12:14AM I (21m) am seeing (21f) and we’ve been on 6 dates so far. Wanting/Not Wanting Kids

I (20F) was talking to my boyfriend (21M) on the phone and I made an off comment joke about kids being stupid due to an interaction I had with one today. My boyfriend commented that he was so glad that we weren’t ever having kids. I was taken a back by this as we have never really discussed having children and honestly we are both too young and it is too early in the relationship to say. I’m not really sure if I should question him about it now or let the comment slide and see if this relationship continues to the point of kids being on the table? We’ve been together for a little over a year and I can see myself with a future with him but that will come with time. I just dont know if I should bring it up. /u/SomebodyLikesBacon on I don't see why some people can't understand that some people don't like sex?
