/u/Thornescape on I have a bad relationship with porn and masturbation and i want really hate it. Nsfw

Sometimes the answer is found in changing the stuff that you masturbate to. Sometimes it's just one of acceptance. It's different for everyone. Some people feel guilty about masturbating, or think that they "shouldn't have to". Some consider it demeaning, either to them or to the subject of their fantasies. Some feel guilt or shame because of it. Masturbation itself isn't a big deal, as long as it isn't obsessive and impeding your life. I'm going to assume that you've tried to stop masturbating and it didn't work, so my personal recommendation would be to spend some time finding the healthiest way to masturbate. See if you can find a different approach the deals with your libido and just accept that it's part of how your body functions. Sometimes looking at things from a different angle helps. Not always, but it's worth a try. May 15, 2021 at 11:53PM

I just thought of this one today: Me, a girl person: I don’t have a heterosexual bone in my body. ... Literally. No boners shall ever enter me! May 15, 2021 at 11:49PM

/u/_Stranger_Stranger on Yes I know aro and ace are different just struggling

Well, beyond sexual and romantic attraction, there are other kinds of attractions called tertiary attractions. Aesthetic attraction means being attracted to how a person looks, sensual attraction is thinking people are cuddly, etc. People can experience these attractions depending on the gender too, the same way with sexual and romantic attractions. An aroace could find guys cuddly or they might just like looking at guys in general. This is why some people identify (and possibly relevant to you) as bi aroace, where bi is a general term for a person's tertiary attractions. That being said, if you don't know whether you're aro or not, or even if a label is for you, this could not be what you're looking for. Still, I think it may be worth giving tertiary attractions a search to see what they are. I think there are a few more than what I mentioned here and it could be good for you to know more about them.
