Hi!! I totally get the way you feel! I had the luck to find out about my asexuality last year and it broke me at first. I was still in highschool that year, "the big final year" and the sole idea of the afterprom scared me to death. I was raised in a religious family too, so my parents didn't want me to go to the afterprom, wich was almost a relief.
