The LGBT community isn't a club though, it's a place for people who face oppression to stick together. It is very rare that aces are discriminated against if at all, and thus they shouldn't take up resources that are for people who need them. Hello! First of all, thank you so much for typing all of this! You're right about me being the one to decide if I'm ace or not. I slept after I typed this whole reddit post and I woke up reading your reply, and I think it's clearer to me that I am ace. I though this is a new thing I found out about myself, but it's actually been a part of me since I was younger. And you're right about good and open communication with partners. sorry just wanna elaborate, this person literally has made disparaging comments all over the asexuality reddits - including telling an asexual to "get therapy" for their totally normal feelings. They've also been trolling some autism reddits and has used the "f-slur" (homophobic slur.) September 20, 2020 at 11:54PM
